The Madison Area Volleyball Network meetup page and Sunday Ten Pin pickup Facebook group has more information where this will be posted more frequently but I thought I'd occassionally post here as well in case people from this group are interested in stopping by(I'm there pretty much every week). In terms of Gatherist the volleyball group is one of my two freebies(Madison Volunteers group the other) for Meetup groups(if you pay for 1, you get two for free) so if there is a long-term switch to Gatherist I'd probably combine the occassional volleyball meetup event postings and volunteer ones(though Madison Social Club usually had a higher turnout than Volunteer group otherwise anyway for cross-posted volunteer events).

I orgininally created this pickup on meetup way back in the day but is now a public event so many others will be there beyond RSVPs. It's very chill and you can just jump on courts when you want to play. I usually just chill/socialize on the first court and you can contact me on Gatherist or my phone at 608-572-8435(though I won't have that on court) if you want to connect before playing).

Sunday Pickup Description:

Weekly Sunday pickup vollleyball is back on the three courts at Ten Pin Alley. Play is typically from 12:00-3:30 and has a decent turnout(around 60 people weekly) so there will be people beyond the meetup event. Play is available for free to all levels(court 1 is typically unofficially the social/less experience court though). Play goes on weekly(there are still plenty of people in less than ideal weather) except for 3 holidays when Ten Pin is closed(usually Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day weekends. There is also a Facebook group that provides more information and a way to connect to others.
