We have the condos reserved for 6 days so a long weekend is available, as well as the uncrowded weekdays. You can drive up for 3 nights for the weekend, add an extra day or 2, or go crazy and stay the entire 6 days.

THE SUNRISE APACHE ALPINE "roller' COASTER OPENED JULY 20, 2024. IT WILL BE OPEN YEAR ROUND SO CHECK IT OUT WHILE WE'RE UP IN THE MOUNTAINS!!!

So come on out and enjoy the snow, mountains, pine trees, jacuzzi, fireplace, fire pit, gym, game room, and new friends up in our very own White Mountains.

CYCLONE Peak should be open: new surface lift installed from Apache:-)

Pre-trip mixer: Tuesday January 27 at 6pm. Location to be announced to all confirmed travelers.

NOTE: Recruit a new member who joins us on the trip and receive $25 off your cost for each person you refer.

You'll have the option to make this a 3 or 4 night weekend, come just midweek, or stay as long as 5 nights with us. Get some extra days of snowsports in before the crowds come up for the weekend by joining us Tuesday through Friday.

This is a great time to head up to Pinetop, Greer, Sunrise Ski Park, and all those wonderful areas in the White Mountains. There is also a Tubing hill experience at the base of Sunrise. And a sledding hill nearby. We have our fingers crossed that Cross Country ski rentals will be offered this season. Waiting on the final answer on the business plan.

Let's go play!!!

I have rented some fantastic 2 and 3 bedroom condos in a fabulous resort filled with wonderful indoor amenities, gas fireplaces, pine trees, and two 15 person jacuzzis under the stars. The condos may be coed.

The rooms have either a King, queen, or 2 twin beds. There is a limited number of each option so sign up early. We will not have anyone on the Murphy beds this year.

We will have time to explore on foot, snowshoes, snowboard, or downhill skis.

Our resort in Pinetop is conveniently located near the Hondah Casino (where they have live music), dozens of restaurants, and right on the hwy to Sunrise and Greer.

COST per person:

$249 for 3 nights (double occupancy)

$50/night for each additional night (double occupancy)

Show Details:

Tombstone was the last great frontier town and it sat high in the Arizona desert, smack dab on millions of dollars in silver ore. Through its dusty streets and elegant saloon doors passed a slew of colorful characters. The Gaslight Theatre takes you back to those days of bar room brawls, stage coach robberies and high-stepping saloon hall girls, all in the "Town Too Tough To Die." Join The Gaslight Theatre for a Rootin', Tootin' great time!

Join us for this family-friendly musical melodrama, and travel with us to the past! *This parody show is fun for ALL AGES!

Please join our gang of misfits for an evening of entertainment at the Gaslight Theater on Broadway. You are encouraged to boo at the villains and cheer for the heroes and heroines. Expect to see the actors laughing as they forget their lines or break character, and you should hear familiar songs sung by the cast and Gaslight band.

Remember to wait in line for Erica or Robert to get your tickets and table assignments. We will be wearing lanyards with nametags.

We will meet in line at 8pm. The ticket price is several bucks less than you would normally pay when booking online or at the box office so going with the group is a great idea.

You must RSVP and pay your $25 in advance to join us. There will be a list with everyone's names and table assignments so you can get your tickets to get in the door. You are welcome to bring any non-members as guests. Children are invited for this event too. We will socialize in line while we wait to go inside. We encourage wearing nametags to get to know each other.

You can use Zelle, Venmo, or Apple Pay, or mail a check. They will have food and drink available for purchase at your table, and popcorn is included. Pizza is their featured entree, and the ice cream desserts are fabulous!

If you have friends who are going, please let us know who you would like to sit with or near. And the earlier you rsvp and pay, the better seats you will have. If you have someone you don't want to sit anywhere near, we can accommodate that request too:-).

We will take requests for which row you prefer and if you want a table for 2 or 4. If you have never been, the tables are small. But the shows are so much fun, you don't notice.

Once you rsvp, please email: affordablegrouptravel@gmail.com to arrange to send in your money and give your table requests.

COST:

$25/PERSON (your space isn't guaranteed until received)

Price is accurate at time of posting and reflects a $1 increase over last year. All monies are non-refundable but you may give away or sell your ticket. We need to know the name of the person taking your ticket(s) if you can't go. This is a non-smoking event.
